Troupe,
I took my daughter to see your show, we both had a blast because she had seen the video and some of the Hot Hawaiian Nights stuff I video taped that featured Booga Booga w/o Rap and using Dave Lancaster. My first encounter with Rap was his performance as Psuedolis in a “Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum”.
Your performance was really great and the timing was excellent. I believe you would have made Rap very proud of your performance of his material. The director did a great job as well. Lee’s adaptation was true to form. I am hoping that since you guys are a trio, you will reprise the Booga Booga skits sometime in the future.
Thanks for an entertaining evening and best of luck in the future. BTW, I got some of my younger aged colleagues to check you guys out. They are too young to have seen Rap while he was alive. They also raved at the performance!
